The anti-reflective element of these lenses comes from a specialised layered coating of metal oxides designed to reduce the reflectivity of the lens. The coating blocks internal and external reflected light, reducing glare and improving the efficiency of light reaching your eye. Without an anti-reflective lens, up to 90% of the light that reaches your glasses can be reflected away from your eye. The metal oxides also reduce the chance of scratches and the appearance of streaks and smudges.
